About Us
The PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club started in 1997 when a dozen residents decided to form the club. Their mission was to create the club’s bylaws, so they visited Sun City's Dance club who graciously gave them a copy of theirs, from which our PC BDC was formed.
Keith and Rita Longely, along with the late Dr. Otto De La Magdellana and his lovely wife Noreen, volunteered to head-up the support roles of setting up tables, sourcing the refreshments and cleaning up after the dance. Lighted candles and cut flowers were briefly added for ambience, but proved to be too expensive since $5 a Dance Fee would not cover it.
Fast forward...casual dances today are only $15 per Member, per dance. This shows the Club's commitment to bring musical enjoyment to everyone to the music, socialize with friends, or meet new friends, and dance the night away at a very reasonable cost, even after all of these years. PCBDC is a non-profit organization. We provide a forum for 'ballroom dancing'.
Our mission is to provide a beautiful and enchanting space to dance. We work hard at finding musicians and DJs to give you that experience that brings back memories of the music we all love.
